    Circuit Breaker Classification

    • By Number of Poles: Three-Pole, Four-Pole
    • By Application: For Distribution, For Motor Protection
    • By Operating Method: Direct Handle Operation, Electric Operation (indicated by "p"), Rotary Handle Operation for Switchgear (indicated by "Z")

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What are the differences between Type A and Type B four-pole circuit breakers?

A1: For Type A, the N pole is not equipped with an overcurrent release, remains permanently connected, and does not open or close together with the other three poles. For Type B, the N pole is also not equipped with an overcurrent release, but it opens and closes together with the other three poles (closing first and opening last).

Q2: What is the maximum installation altitude allowed for these circuit breakers?

A2: The installation altitude for these circuit breakers must not exceed 2000 meters.

Q3: Under what temperature conditions can this circuit breaker operate normally?

A3: The normal ambient air temperature should be within the range of -5°C to +40°C, and the average temperature over a 24-hour period must not exceed +35°C. For temperatures outside this range, usage must be agreed upon with the manufacturer.

Q4: Can the circuit breaker be installed horizontally?

A4: Yes. Although the circuit breaker is generally designed to be installed vertically (upright), horizontal (flat-mounted) installation is also permissible.

Q5: What do the letters "p" and "Z" stand for in the operating methods?

A5: The letter "p" indicates Electric Operation, and the letter "Z" indicates Rotary Handle Operation for switchgear.

Q6: What is the rated insulation voltage (Ui) of these circuit breakers?

A6: The rated insulation voltage (Ui) for these circuit breaker models is 1000V.
