    Scope of Application

    The smart IoT circuit breaker features a rated insulation voltage of 1000V, designed for three-phase four-wire power distribution systems; Operating at 50Hz AC with a rated voltage of 400V and rated current up to 630A. It provides indirect contact protection, prevents fire hazards caused by ground fault currents from equipment insulation damage, and distributes electrical energy while protecting circuits against overloads and short circuits. Additionally, it offers protection against line overvoltage, undervoltage, and phase loss.

    Protection Feature Description

    Overload and long delay protection

    The circuit breaker shall provide overload and short circuit protection, as well as photovoltaic power generation system island protection and power quality monitoring protection, and all protection functions shall support remote configuration.

    1. Long delay setting value (lr) range for over-current

    The current setting (lr) ranges from 0.4 to 1In, with OFF indicating the protection function is disabled.
    The time delay characteristic follows the IEC standard inverse time curve, with K factor=0.14, α factor=0.02, and L factor=0. The current I is set, while Is represents the rated current.
    TMS setting range: 1-10s.
    The long delay protection action of over-current should meet the requirements of Table 1.

    ◆ Performance characteristic

    1. Short delay setting value (Isd) range for over current
    Short-time operating current (Isd) range: 1.5 to 5Ir, OFF. OFF means the protection function can be disabled.
    The delay action is time-limited, with a set range of 1-10 seconds.
    The short delay protection action of overcurrent should meet the requirements of Table 2.

    ◆ Excess voltage protection

    The overvoltage protection voltage setting (Uov) ranges from 1.05 to 1.5 times the rated voltage (Un). The OFF setting enables the protection function to be disabled.
    The delay action is time-limited, with the tUov setting range being 1 to 9999 seconds.
    The over voltage protection operation shall meet the requirements of Table 5.

    The low voltage protection action shall meet the requirements of Table 6.

    ◆ Passive island protection

    The passive detection method primarily identifies islanding status by monitoring the amplitude, frequency, phase, and harmonic content of the inverter's common mode voltage output. Key components include over/under-voltage protection, over/under-frequency protection, phase abrupt change detection, and harmonic detection. The set values for passive island detection criteria are:
    Voltage amplitude swing (dUisl): 0.1 to 0.9Un, OFF; voltage frequency swing (dFisl): 0.5 to 25Hz, OFF.
    Voltage phase swing (dPHisl): 1~60, OFF; Voltage waveform distortion rate swing (dUTHDisl): 0.5~30%, OFF.
    The delay action is time-limited, with the set time tPis adjustable within the range of 0.01 to 9.99 seconds.
    The passive island protection action shall meet the requirements of Table 8.

    ◆ Power generation quality monitoring and protection

    The power generation harmonic monitoring and protection action shall meet the requirements of Table 9.

    ◆ Undervoltage protection

    The circuit breaker trips when the phase voltage falls below the undervoltage protection setting. Once the voltage returns to normal, the breaker automatically recloses. The undervoltage protection range is 88V to 209V, with a factory default of 187V. Users can adjust or disable the protection as needed.

    ◆ Phase loss protection

    When a phase is missing at the power output of the line, the circuit breaker protection trips. Once the line recovers to normal voltage, it can automatically close and resume operation. The phase loss protection setting ranges from 10V to 130V, with a factory default of 30V. Users can adjust or disable the protection as needed.

    ◆ Autoreclose circuit breaker

    After the line voltage exceeds the limit and trips, the line voltage will be automatically reclosed after 5s when the line voltage returns to normal, but the manual closing is not limited by time.

    ◆ External control or dynamic protection function

    ◆ Cost control

    This product can be connected to a fee-controlled meter as an external circuit breaker, compatible with both pulse-type and level-type fee-controlled meters. This feature requires configuring the switch to fee-controlled mode and enabling the "Allow" option. When operating in fee-controlled mode, the automatic protection function is disabled, preventing manual or automatic closing without a fee-controlled signal. Forced closing will automatically disconnect the circuit.
