    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Type A and Type B Four-Pole circuit breakers?
Type A has an N pole that is not equipped with an overcurrent release, remains permanently connected, and does not open or close together with the other three poles. Type B also lacks an overcurrent release on the N pole but opens and closes together with the other three poles (closing first and opening last).
What are the ambient temperature limits for normal operation?
The ambient air temperature must not exceed +40°C, and the lower limit must not be lower than -5°C. Additionally, the average temperature over a 24-hour period should not exceed +35°C. For operation outside these limits, user agreement with the manufacturer is required.
What is the maximum installation altitude for these circuit breakers?
The standard installation altitude for the circuit breakers should not exceed 2000 meters.
What are the relative humidity requirements for installation?
At the maximum temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity must not exceed 50%. Higher humidity levels are permitted at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at 20°C), provided consideration is given to condensation on the product surface caused by temperature shifts.
What options are available for operating the circuit breakers?
They can be operated using a Direct Handle, via Electric Operation (indicated by "p"), or using a Rotary Handle Operation designed for switchgear (indicated by "Z").
What is the rated insulation voltage (Ui) of the CBRM5Kd series?
The rated insulation voltage (Ui) for the CBRM5Kd series circuit breakers is 1000V.
