    ◆ Time-delay characteristics
The overload protection is based on the inverse time characteristic.
The delay time is calculated as T=(6Ir1/I) x L, with a tolerance of +10%. Here, T represents the action time, Ir1 is the long delay protection setting, I denotes the fault current, and L stands for the long delay time setting.

◆ Short circuit short delay protection
Short delay protection prevents impedance short circuit in the power distribution system, and the trip delay is to achieve selective protection. Short-circuit short delay protection parameter settings (Table 3: Short-Circuit Delay Parameter Setting)

    Non-delay ≤0.3s ≤0.15s ≤0.04s
    0.06 ≥0.06s ≤0.5s ≤0.2s ≤0.15s

    ◆ Auto mode
In automatic gear mode, the gear values and floating values are:

Gauge reading (mA) Floating value (mA)
    50 25
    100 50
    200 100
    300 150
    400 200
    500 250
    600 300
    800 400
    1000 -

When the residual current exceeds the floating threshold of a setting without reaching its activation level and remains stable for 60 seconds, the setting is raised by one level. This process continues until reaching the maximum setting. Conversely, when the residual current falls below the floating threshold of the next lower setting and remains stable for 120 seconds, the setting is lowered by one level. This sequence repeats until the minimum setting is reached. Taking the 'Auto 2' setting with an initial residual current of 100mA as an example: When the circuit breaker is energized, the setting automatically resets to 300mA. If the residual current increases above 150mA and remains stable for 60 seconds, the setting changes to 500mA. When the residual current decreases below 150mA and stays stable for 120 seconds, the setting adjusts to 200mA.

    ◆ Autoreclose circuit breaker
When the residual current exceeds the set trip current threshold, the circuit breaker will trip. After 20-60 seconds, it can automatically reclose, though manual reclosing is unrestricted. If the fault current disappears within 5 seconds after reclosing, the operation is successful and the breaker resumes normal operation. If the fault persists, the breaker will trip again and remain locked, preventing automatic reclosing. In such cases, manual reclosing must be performed.

    ◆ Over-voltage protection
When the line phase voltage exceeds the overvoltage protection setting, the circuit breaker trips. Once the voltage returns to normal, the circuit breaker automatically recloses and resumes operation. The overvoltage protection setting ranges from 250V to 300V, with a factory default of 275V. Users can adjust or disable the protection as needed.

    ◆ Undervoltage protection
When the phase voltage falls below the undervoltage protection setting, the circuit breaker trips. Once the voltage returns to normal, the breaker automatically recloses. The undervoltage protection range is 145V to 200V, with a factory default of 145V. Users can adjust or disable the protection as needed.

    ◆ Phase loss protection function
When a phase is missing at the power supply end of the line, the circuit breaker protection trips. When the line is restored to normal voltage, the circuit breaker can be automatically closed and put into operation.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What standards does the Residual Current Protection (RCD) Circuit Breaker meet?
The product complies with the standards GB/T14048.1-2012 (Low voltage switchgear and control equipment - General principles), GB/T14048.2-2008 (Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment - Circuit breakers), and GB/T1770 1-2008 (Equipment circuit breakers).
How does the automatic reclosing function work?
When the residual current exceeds the set threshold, the breaker trips. It will automatically attempt to reclose after 20-60 seconds. If the fault disappears within 5 seconds after reclosing, normal operation is restored. If the fault persists, it trips again and locks, requiring manual reclosing.
What are the over-voltage and under-voltage protection thresholds?
The over-voltage protection range is adjustable between 250V and 300V (factory default is 275V). The under-voltage protection range is adjustable between 145V and 200V (factory default is 145V). Users can modify or disable these protections as required.
What is the difference between manual and automatic residual current setting mode?
In manual mode, users set a specific value for the rated residual operating current. In automatic mode, the MCU automatically tracks the line leakage and adjusts the threshold settings dynamically based on stable readings over 60 or 120 seconds.
Does this circuit breaker support remote communication and control?
Yes, the device features network communication capabilities that enable remote signaling, remote measurement, remote control, and remote adjustment. It also supports optional infrared communication.
What happens in the event of a phase loss?
When a phase is missing at the power supply end of the line, the phase loss protection is triggered and the circuit breaker trips. Once the line voltage is restored to normal, the circuit breaker can automatically close and resume operations.
